TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a great local firm of Accountants, based in Sittingbourne, who are looking for an Accounts Senior to join their team in a general practice position across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT.
Theyre looking for either a qualified or qualified by experience Accounts Senior to join them in a progressive and rewarding career. You will have lots of autonomy and our client will provide study support as required.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Assisting with management accounts production
- Personal tax, corporate tax and VAT returns
- General bookkeeping duties using Xero or Quickbooks
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
Commutable from Sittingbourne, Faversham, Canterbury, Medway, Rochester, Gillingham, Chatham, Maidstone
Requirements
- You will have 3-5+ years experience within an accountancy practice.
- You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- You will have hands on experience of accounts, tax and VAT preparation.
Benefits
- 35,000 - 45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
