Job Description

- Sets up and operates various items of radio production equipment, to include microphones, multi-channel mixers, digital recorders, telephone circuits and interfaces, audio processors, and recorders, for both location and studio production.
- Operates and maintains proper levels and calibration of autio recorders, switchers, and other recording studio production equipment.
- Prepares studio and/or live-on-location siteAs with requested equipment and setup for live and/or taped sessions in a variety of formats.
- Completes troubleshooting and preventative maintenance reports on audio production equipment; assists in the upkeep of studio properties.
- Produces and edits short segments and spots, as required.
- Maintains records and schedules of facility usage, as appropriate.
- May lead and/or guide the work of others including interns, volunteers, and student employees.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
