Supervisor, Pipe

Responsibilities:
• Prepares departmental reports on time and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
• Should be conversant with applicable safe working practices, quality & standards.
• Meeting all responsibilities as outlined in the DDW OHSMS
• Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
• Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions (other preferences will be given for special language skills where there is a business need)
• Responsible to comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls and to behave in a manner, which ensures that their actions or omissions, do not adversely affect the environment, health, safety and wellbeing of themselves, colleagues, contractors or members of the public
• Hands-on job senior/general foreman experience in piping construction.
• Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors, and multinational employees.
• Five (5) years of formal piping supervisory experience in heavy industrial projects such as ship yards, refineries, petro-chemical complexes, power plants, etc.
