The purpose of this position is to develop, design, and implement new or modified NEP software While working with the broadcast support and networking teams to provide broadcast facilities with 24/7
- Provide 24/7 technical support for NEP broadcast systems
- Ensure systems are acceptably stable and responsive to field engineering
- Develop, maintain and support NEP monitoring system
- Researching, designing, implementing, supporting, and managing full-stack software solutions
- Testing and evaluating new programs
- Writing and documenting efficient code
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
- Maintain proper documentation and training of all
- Troubleshooting and configuration of a network system

- Technical or Associates degree in Computer Science desired, however a combination of education and experience will be
- Prior experience in the broadcast television industry preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and analytical
- Demonstrates the ability to multi-task several priorities and possess solid time management
- Technical support background
- Must be willing and able to travel as
- Linux, Mac, and Windows proficient
- Proficient in / Python and other programming languages
- Ability to learn new technologies and solutions quickly
- Network management and monitoring experience
- Understanding of layer 2 and layer 3 switching
- Understanding of TCP/IP routing
- Understanding of networking protocols
- Understanding of basic networking concepts such as VLANs, subnets, and network loops
