Staff Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• In depth knowledge of oil field flow assurance, particularly in chemistry and related research, minimum 10 years' experience in oil field chemistry.
• Good knowledge of both Oil and Gas production. Familiar with production processes. Had worked in integrated facilities with receiving gas and oil terminal.
• Familiar with emulsion caused by carboxylic/ naphthenic acid occurred in Sarawak basin would be preferred. Experience working on Floating Storage and Offloading FSO vessel managing flow assurance related matters such as emulsions, sludge and H2S would be preferred.
• Track record working for/ with an operator company. Experience in managing routine chemical consumptions, chemical and manpower movement, as well as troubleshooting works.
• Proficiency in SAP skill is required.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong personal and interpersonal skills with flexibility to meet the fluctuating needs of cross-functional operations support.
• Willingness to travel to the field, both onshore and offshore.
• History of managing technically specialized vendors.
