Insight Global is currently hiring a staff accountant for a client located in the Henrico, VA area. This position will be fully onsite and will be a 6 month contract-to-hire. The staff accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with IRS rules, reconciling bank statements, and balancing the ledger for regular reports.
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience as an accountant.
- Experience preparing journal entries, maintaining general ledger, etc.
- Familiarity with financial software such as QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
