- Performs tasks/projects of a larger scope and assumes some leadership for specific tasks within the project scope in the field of polyolefin fiber (preferably polypropylene fiber) i.e., material characterization for fiber grades, prepare material data sheet, fiber quality and performance according to international standards, market need and customer requirements. Manage new fiber developments project to fit specific application requirements and meet the deliverables plan and milestones of the project. Engages in initiatives of moderate difficulty.
- Under the supervision of senior members or independently, evaluates selects and applies procedures and techniques in the field of fiber spinning, new processing technologies. Identifies problems and related technical issues leading to long-term, generic solutions in fiber materials. Technical support to the customer to resolve the material issue, establishing grade in the market via technical knowhow, visit and operation of continuous fiber spinning pilot plant.
- Defines work-plans and approaches and assumes responsibility for timeliness, cost effectiveness, and quality of outputs. Continually aims to enhance capabilities for project planning, including assessment of cost, scope, and schedule against plan.
- Contributes in providing ideas to improve the efficiency of the unit in the area of fiber field.
