- Manly working as Sr. Field Service Engineer to provide the installation testing and commissioning activities at customer site or projects related to the transformers, OLTC (On-load tap changer) and transformer related equipment, including third party transformers if applicable and authorized bymanagement.
- Active participation in site activities and visiting the customer site for Installation testing and commissioning of transformers or transformer related activities. Work on other equipment related to the transformer as and when required or assigned by the line manager. Participating in the PGTR project and work with project team as and when assigned.
- Coordinate/interface with tools management department and take care of tools, arrange and properly use ABB Transformer or other products test equipment and tools to execute site activities for installation, testing and commissioning, protection and control.
- Complete transformer compartment assembly work, minor fabrications if required, trouble shooting and rectification of transformer and allied product defects, workable at customer site and advise the action plan if the repair work need to be carried out infactory or workshop. Supports the work activities of PGTR Service at site, or at customer work place.
