Sr BIM Engineer - Roads

JOBDESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Road BIM Engineer to lead our team of engineers and BIM modelers in the design modelling and coordination of road infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Roads Engineering Design Drawings Shop drawings BIM modelling using Autodesk Civil 3D Revit AutoCAD BIM 360 Aconex and be familiar with road engineering processes standards and best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the road infrastructure projects using BIM processes standards and project information delivery cycle.
• Develop and maintain project BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and BIM Model Development Plans (MDP) to ensure all project stakeholders are aligned with BIM processes and standards.
• Generate 3D models of road infrastructure projects using Autodesk Civil 3D Revit and Autocad.
• Generate design drawings and shop drawings for road infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards and project requirements and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure BIM models are coordinated and clashfree.
• Collaborate with the design team and other stakeholders to optimize design and construction processes using BIM.
• Provide guidance and support to the project team on BIM processes standards and technologies.
• Review and validate project deliverables to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of BIM models and project deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with the project team to identify and resolve technical issues.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Strong knowledge of road engineering processes standards and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of BIM processes standards and technologies.
• Experience in leading and managing teams of engineers and BIM modelers.
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with different stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to work collaboratively with the project team.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and BIM modelers.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to present technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word Excel and PowerPoint.

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Roads Engineering Design Drawings Shop drawings BIM modelling using Autodesk Civil 3D Revit AutoCAD BIM 360 Aconex.
