Horticultural Salesperson

The Role:

This is a full-time Sales role based in a Commercial horticulture operation in Kildare. The role will involve learning all about the stock, gaining product and market knowledge and being able to sell. It will involve some light duties around the nursery in preparation for sales, tidying, arranging displays, moving stock etc. But will mainly involve selling and dealing with the public who arrive as customers to the premises and at times with wholesale also. Mornings are often quite busy and a good problem solver, and someone with good people skills is required.

What you need to succeed

Some Sales experience, and / or experience in a customer facing or public facing role.

Ideally some Horticultural knowledge and interest.

At least 2 years experience in a similar role.

You need to be a problem solver, with good people skills, negotiation, and sales ability.

Comfortable working outdoors for a good portion of the day.
