These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out Arabian Business Harper s Bazaar GQ and Construction Week.

THE OPPORTUNITY:


We are looking for an experienced passionate and creative Social Media Executive / Manager to join our team.

As a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy to increase our online presence brand awareness and executive thoughtleadership visibility.

This role is critical to the organization as you will be responsible for the successful development management and coordination of the company s social media activity. You will be responsible for the creation editing and coordination of social media content; driving follower numbers and engagement; and measuring and monitoring social channels across the organization.

Your creative and project management skills will be utilized in the development of engaging and visually appealing social content requiring uptodate experience of the leading social media management platforms and video creation tools.

The role will require daytoday interaction with multiple teams including campaign and field marketing product marketing HR/Talent Acquisition PR corporate and brand strategy.

Requirements

YOU ARE GREAT AT :
  • Working with the Corporate Communications team to develop and deliver a bestinclass social media experience for existing and future followers
  • Coordinating social media activities for corporatewide programs and campaigns including executive thoughtleadership product announcements corporate events corporate branding and global campaigns
  • Managing a master social media calendar for the company s social media handles
  • Creating engaging content including video around blogs media coverage corporate and brand campaigns customer stories executive and industry thought leadership.
  • Researching reporting analyzing and measuring social media metrics
  • Designing and implement social media strategies to align with business goals
  • Collaborating with other teams including marketing HR and Talent Acquisition to ensure brand consistency
  • Actively contributing to the employee advocacy program to ensure broader companywidesharing of content
  • Suggesting and implement new programs and corporate campaigns to develop brand awareness
  • Staying up to date with current technologies and trends in social media design tools and applications

    WHAT IT TAKES:

  • 4 years of experience in social media management and content development with proven ability to execute. A selfstarter and someone who is comfortable working across teams
  • Hands on experience with social media publishing measuring and content creation solutions
  • Excellent social writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail ability to manage and deliver creative content (text image and video)
  • Excellent communications analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Current knowledge of all major social platforms inc. LinkedIn Twitter Facebook and social media best practices
  • Strong and committed work ethic and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Bachelor s degree and 2 years of social media experience ideally in a hightech environment.


Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of writers, reporters, and contributors to produce high-quality content for digital and print platforms. Develop and execute an effective content strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives and resonates with our target audience. Plan, assign, write, and edit articles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's editorial standards. Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developments to ensure the brand's content remains timely and relevant. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including industry experts and partners, to enhance content quality and coverage. Ensure the timely publication of content across various platforms, including the brand's website, social media channels, and print publications. Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field. A minimum of five years of editorial experience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred. Required Skills: Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills. Strong editorial skills including editing, proofreading, and fact checking. Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Proficient in using editorial software and tools. Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms, content management systems, and SEO best practices. Paywall experience. Project budget management skills. Desirable Attributes: Passionate about the GCC technology market. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable about the latest trends in the travel industry. Energetic, self-motivated, and results driven. International roaster of travel writers and photographers.
