- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to diagnose communication and speech disorders, including speech sound disorders, language disorders, stuttering, voice disorders, and more.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with senior SLPs to develop personalized treatment plans and goals for clients based on assessment findings and individual needs.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to help clients improve their communication and speech skills. Provide support and guidance to clients and their families throughout the therapy process.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Client Education: Educate clients and their families on speech and language disorders, therapy strategies, and home exercises to reinforce progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, educators, and psychologists, to provide holistic care for clients.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing training and professional development.
