What is the role:
As a Senior UX/UI Designer you will be responsible for designing the ESpace marketplace which includes delivering an endtoend user experience of the IoT solutions with development for all UX components of the solutions.
You will also be responsible for designing the user interfaces for all solutions and for the UI technology selection for applications. The tasks will include design and developing experience of applications and platforms including device management platforms IoT device agents and more. You will also support the agile framework for the management of software product development for various IoT solutions.
This position will work closely with the Digital Solutions Product and Engineering teams and is based out of our UAE office.
What you will do:
- Establish and maintain design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and cohesion across ESpace IoT solutions
- Lead the UX and UI designs as well as the creation and refinement of user experiences and user interfaces for the ESpace marketplace and IoT solutions ensuring a seamless and intuitive interaction between users and solutions
- Oversee the entire endtoend experience and user journey from initial interaction to task completion across ESpace IoT solutions applications and platforms
- Lead prototyping efforts which includes developing prototypes and clickable mockups that visualize the user experience and facilitate user testing and validation
- Ensure the technical feasibility of all UI/UX designs; translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into responsive apps and web pages
- Optimize the customer journey solutions protypes and proper documentations
- Develop usercentric designs of IoT solutions and applications by advocating for the needs and preferences of ESpace users keeping their goals and requirements at the forefront of the design process
- Create interfaces that are tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of the IoT ecosystem
- Collaborate on crossfunctional basis with development teams product managers and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless translation of design concepts into functional products
- Understand product features to design IoT solutions applications and platforms
What you bring to this role:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science IT Software Engineering or relevant fields or a Master of Science degree or PhD in related fields are preferred
- More than 10 years of professional experience in designing IoT platforms applications user interfaces and prototyping IoT projects
- Portfolio showcasing successful IoT design projects (required)
- Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using Figma Sketch InVision Axure Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
- Strong understanding of usercentered design principles and user testing methodologies
- Ability to convey complex IoT concepts in a clear and understandable manner
- Excellent communication problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to work locally yet think and act globally by interacting with teams in France UK Germany India and the U.S.
- High level of comfort working autonomously with little supervision as needed
- Excitement for continuous learning and a willingness to undertake further relevant training
Bonus points:
- Frontend application development experience including design build and maintain highly reusable JavaScript HTML and CSS code
- Various design and user experience development tools
- Experience in using cloud computing platforms such as Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure
- Understanding or direct experience on delivering IoT solutions via a LEO satellite system
