As a global product based tech company we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in a remote-friendly role. The candidate will be required to apply their depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
The Role:
- Play a vital role in the automation and oversight of our system deployments
- Partial involvement as abackend developer - involved in the development of backend features using .Net/ .Net Core
- Responsible for all aspects of implementation / management of software delivery pipelines
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining system uptime / resiliency
- Maintain and build upon existing CI/CD tooling and processes
- Bridge the gap between infrastructure and software
- Work as a back-end web developer and deliver scalable, high quality features
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Solid experience with PowerShell scripting, building / maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (Team City, Octopus Deploy)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of version control concepts (ie. Git/Branching).
- Experience and understanding of cloud platform tech (AWS/Microsoft Azure)
- Staying up to date on newest technologies and trends in the industry
- Knowledge and understanding of C#, .Net, Web API
- Understanding of infrastructure build/automation tools such as Helm/Terraform and Docker/Kubernetes Clusters a bonus
- Experience/knowledge with Rest APIs
- Experience working with databases (e.g. SQL Server)
