Senior Structural Engineer

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
• Master degree in Structural Engineering, preferred
• Minimum 10 years structural engineering experience in consultancy firms, preferably from GCC countries
• Strong background and experience in using the computer software' ETABS / SAFE / SAP -CSI
• Minimum 10 years seismic design experience in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings (preferred in Gulf region).
• Member of Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) as certified structural Engineer, if candidate is working in Kuwait
• Must be an Authorized Structural Engineer approved by Kuwait Municipality is preferable.

Professional Experience:

• Extensive experience and up-to-date knowledge using the international Design Building Codes and standards of materials , mainly the American codes and standards as well as equivalent European codes .
• Experience in analysis and design of different building types such as residential, high rise, mixed used etc.
• Basic knowledge of different materials and structural systems applicable for different project types
• Capable of performing lateral wind and seismic analysis and design
• Experience in working with Revit and BIM 360 environment.
• Experience in working in large scale/mega project in design engineering
