SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR - CIVIL

Duncan & Ross Management Consultancies is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dubai The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional and technical advice on the cost management of building projects from inception to completion

• Disciplines Structure Architecture Finishes and Faade
• Software Office Plan Swift Autocad and PDF

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage the cost of building projects from inception to completion

Prepare cost estimates budgets and cash flow projections

Prepare tender and contract documents

Negotiate and agree contracts with contractors subcontractors and other professionals

Monitor and report on the progress of projects and keep records of variations

Prepare and submit final accounts

Provide technical advice on contractual claims

Manage the procurement of materials

Advise on the use of different building materials and construction methods

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Liaise with clients contractors subcontractors and other professionals

 Key Requirements

Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management Architecture or related field

At least years of experience in a similar role

Indepth knowledge of construction industry regulations and practices

Well versed in Planswift software for quantity takeoff

Pretender/ Precontract project experience is a must

Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software
