This is a remote position.

Fully remote position to work from home anywhere in South Africa!!

Our client is a IT Support and Services company.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering support calls and logging them on our helpdesk system.
  • Providing the highest levels of customer service.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting IT issues and escalating as required.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.


Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience working in an IT/MSP helpdesk environment
  • Experience of working within a Managed Service Provider is highly desirable
  • Competent at using Active Directory.
  • Competent at using and troubleshooting Office 365 including OneDrive & SharePoint.
  • Windows Server and Windows 10 troubleshooting.
  • Peripheral support - printers & scanners etc.
  • Experience with security products
  • Detailed case logging
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including routers


1st Line IT Support/Helpdesk Engineer to join our team. You will be joining an ever growing and progressive Helpdesk providing support to a wide range of business customers. As a Helpdesk Engineer, you will report to the Helpdesk Manager. Responsibilities: Answering support calls and logging them on our helpdesk system. Providing the highest levels of customer service. Diagnosing and troubleshooting IT issues and escalating as required. Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years proven experience working in an IT/MSP helpdesk environment. Excellent communication skills. Excellent work ethic. Excellent attention to detail. Highly organised. Desired Experience: Experience of working within a Managed Service Provider is highly desirable but not essential. Competent at using Active Directory. Competent at using and troubleshooting Office 365 including OneDrive & SharePoint. Windows Server and Windows 10 troubleshooting. Peripheral support - printers & scanners etc. Experience with security products Detailed case logging Basic understanding of networking concepts including routers
