- Provide consultation on normal and emergency plant maintenance procedures and standards.
- Offer technical support to electrical maintenance and machine shop operations.
- Perform stator rewinds, testing, and vibration analysis for high-voltage electric motors.
- Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electric motors and generators.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment, focusing on cost reductions and process improvements.
- Introduce the latest technology in repair methodology.
- Design engineering packages for electrical equipment.
- Coach and share knowledge with junior engineers.
- Participate in vendor/customer exchange meetings.
- Engage in standards value engineering and assist in Corrective & Preventative Action resolution.
- Participate in internal or customer equipment drawing reviews.
- Provide specialized engineering assistance to repair units.
