- Enhanced product scope; customers are now able to deal FX (Value Today), FX TOM (Value TOM), FX Spot, FX Forwards, FX Swaps as well as non-deliverable forwards (NDFs) using the platform.
- Dual functionality to have click and trade up to a certain threshold and RFQ capability beyond the threshold.
- Full STP - Account balances (same day value trades) and limits (for future value trades) being checked real-time thereby requiring no trader intervention.
- Connectivity to Multibank platform – In addition we now have the ability to price and trade with our customers on major multibank trading platforms such as Bloomberg, 360T & Reuters enabling dealing with savvy corporate and institutional customers. The flexibility of the architecture of SMARTDEAL enables GM&T to easily implement pricing on any other trading platforms as required by clients.
- Market making - GM&T is now a market maker which in turn broadens the scope of customers to include Institutional clientele as well. The pricing of all GCC currencies, majors - EUR, JPY, GBP and INR is done in-house by the GM&T trading desk while the other currencies, if required by customers, are auto hedged with major liquidity providers.
- Enhanced branding has been achieved with the help of marketing.
- The platform now can be given to various business segments to execute FX deals on behalf of client which will save time and execution can be much faster.
