- Determine most effective arrangement of unit operations such as mixing, blending, coating, milling, grinding, screening, cooling, shaping, polymerizing, and chemical synthesis.
- Create detailed processing instructions and direct personnel controlling equipment used for such unit operations.
- Design experiments using statistical analysis to understand dynamics of chemical processes and formulations.
- Determine process capability through statistical analysis and make recommendations for product and process specifications.
