- Collaborate with the tax team to develop and execute comprehensive corporate tax strategies that align with the group's objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Review the monthly tax provision calculation produced by the system and perform a reconciliation to the ledger
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end annual tax compliance process, ensuring the accurate and timely filing of all tax returns.
- Perform detailed reviews of deferred tax calculations for the group, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead transfer pricing initiatives, ensuring compliance with international guidelines and recommending strategies to optimize the company's global tax position.
- Provide tax expertise during mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and post-transaction integration.
- Offer guidance on cross-border tax matters, including international tax planning, treaty analysis, and preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
- Stay abreast of changes in domestic and international tax laws and regulations, and proactively ensure the organization's tax practices remain compliant and current.
- Prepare and review tax-related financial reports and disclosures, including tax provision calculations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external advisors, and tax authorities to address tax-related inquiries, audits, and projects efficiently.
