Senior Application Developer

1.Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and solutions using but not limited to, Autodesk Forge APIs and services to address specific business and industry needs.

2. Develop code in Autodesk Forge

3. Support all aspects of Autodesk BIM360, Navisworks, ACC and other Architecture Engineering Construction (AEC) information repositories.

4. Support software from Autodesk, Bentley, CSI and other sources, such as ESRI and employ related technical protocols and standards.

5. Provide support and troubleshooting related to project applications including but not limited to: Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Infraworks, Navisworks, ..etc.

6. Create and run QA/QC support on current project delivery workflows.

7. Maintain and improve the performance of existing solutions.

8. Clearly and regularly communicate with Digital delivery representatives to explore new changes and requirements.

9. Regularly testing and maintaining software products and deployments to ensure they are functioning optimally.

10. Administer digital engineering platforms.

Training and Development

1. Recommend improvements to existing software solutions as necessary.

2. Participate in business requirements analysis and business process re-engineering.

3. Participate in systems requirements analysis and code reviews.

4. Participate in the innovation, incubation, and iteration of digital products.

5. Train users in the conversion and implementation of systems

6. Present ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals.

7. Ensure that Health, Safety, Sustainability and Continual Improvement is embedded into all work practices.

8. Maintain a high level of competency of software through continued use and training.

Project Support

1. Create and maintain custom software solutions that automate workflows and improve efficiency.

2. Develop user interfaces and plugins to enhance the user experience.

3. Troubleshoot any technical issues or glitches and provide guidance and expertise to the design team.

Knowledge & Skills:

1.Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, gaming design or equivalent

2. Proficiency in customization and implementation of Autodesk Platform Services (Forge API), with a strong understanding of the Forge Data Management API, Model Derivative API, and Viewer API with BIM 360/ACC.

3.Technical expertise in software engineering, web development, and database design.

4. Knowledge of relevant programming languages and Knowledge of Autodesk BIM360, ACC on Forge layer.

5. Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services.

6. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

7. Knowledge of data management technologies and software.

8. Use of Agile project management methodologies to effectively deliver the requests.

Experience:

7+ years of international experience in supporting engineering applications and partnered.

2. Demonstrated skills and experience are required in software development with prototypes in BIM360, Forge, CDE, Python, Powershell, .NET programming, JavaScript.

3. 5+ years’ experience in developing and deploying enhancements & add-ins to Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD products, Autodesk Forge platform Services.
