We began as a commercial surveillance company specializing in CCTV design and installation. We expanded our services to include intrusion, fire alarm, access control and gate entry. Weve helped a variety of businesses big and small across Georgia. Most of our clients are multi-family communities, homeowners associations, hotels, warehouses, and commercial buildings. However, we are happy to consult with any business in need of security.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Daily tasks may include:
Configure/program equipment such as burglar alarms, fire alarm panels, servers, recorders, cameras, networking equipment
Install security products such as fire alarm devices, smoke detectors, cameras, recorders, card readers, door locks, control panels, networking equipment
Troubleshoot and test all installed/serviced equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with customers requirements
Train clients on proper usage of equipment
Update service tickets before going to the next site
The ideal candidate will transition to a supervisory/managerial position that will focus more on developing processes, quality control and high level technical matters. With the right candidate, this position will lead to becoming the go-to person for all technical matters.

This is a highly technical position that involves programming/troubleshooting networks, fire alarm panels, and cellular communicators. It requires a strong understanding of technology.
Experience!
5+ years experience in Commercial Security and Camera Maintenance
3+ years experience in intrusion alarms
3+ years experience in access control
3+ years experience in Low Voltage including electronic and mechanical
Fire Alarm experience a plus
NICET Certified a plus
Willing to consider candidates with less experience, but experience is required
Skills & Knowledge!
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Working knowledge of construction principles
Reading, following, and applying logical information from schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, instruction manuals, operator guides, work orders, SOP s and safety rules
Communicate effectively with customers and educate them on newly installed equipment as well as job status completion (service or installation)
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Must be able to communicate effectively
Advanced computer skills using a laptop with ability to check e-mails using Gmail and effectively manage time card using T-Sheets
Ability to submit daily time & notes using companies ticketing system - Must know how to use a cell phone including making calls, sending texts, using apps and taking photos.
Management, Leadership & Growth!
Responsible for cross training less experienced employees and trainees on company procedures, systems, and installation/service techniques
Willing to self-train using necessary resources
Ability to lead an install team when needed
Be able to work independently without direct supervision and be able to effectively communicate to management regarding the progress of service tickets
Help establish and document procedures

Ability to work Monday Friday 8:00AM 6:00PM (typical days are 8 hours but start and stop times may change based on project/call)
Adapts well to changing work schedules
Must be a team player all hands-on deck when needed
Must be willing to take on new challenges and support a growing operation
