What You Will Do:
- Manage infrastructure for the organization
- Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure to support our data applications and visualizations
- Ensure our infrastructure meets the availability, performance, and scalability of our applications
- Implement monitoring solutions that enable proactive diagnosis and restoration of service when outages occur
- Ensure the security of our applications and implement security standards for the organization
- Provide support for developer tools and services and ensure developer productivity
- Champion DevOps processes to enable continuous integration and deployment
- Collaborate with the development team to define requirements and design solutions
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code, documentation of processes, and systems
- Manage relationships and procurement processes with vendors that the organization is leveraging

Preferred Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related field
- Expertise in managing AWS infrastructure and services
- Familiarity with a range of technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Familiarity with a range of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Cognito, and Lambda
- Experience implementing security standards for organizations and hosted applications
- Experience administering organize-wide tools like Google Workspace or Apple Business
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- AWS certification is a plus
- If remotely located, willing to travel to Tucson, Arizona for meetings and work sessions several times throughout a calendar year
