WRK digital are delighted to be shortlisting for two developers with experience developing mobile applications within the education sector. The company's mission is to help children develop their skills both inside and outside the classroom. The App is an exciting greenfield project, downloaded 1 million times just in its first month, and the team has some fantastic plans for 2023 and beyond.

There has never been a more exciting time to join their tight-knit team to work on this ground breaking new product. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to up skill and train as necessary to help the organisation deliver both their existing projects and work on their next platform.

You will provide your Software Development skills to write clean, maintainable solutions using React Native to deliver high-quality mobile solutions that are robust, scalable, and secure, as well as being delivered on time.

Key responsibilities and experience for the App Developer :

* Work as part of a small team to build React Native applications for use by teachers and children both in the classroom and at home.
* Implement pixel perfect UI's that work seamlessly across multiple mobile device types.
* Help design, architect, build and maintain remote API back end systems that interface with the React Native applications.
* Write unit test integration tests (Jest)
* Contribute to peer code review, daily stand-ups and task planning and retrospectives.
* Release, update and manage applications to the Apple App, Google Play and Amazon App stores.
* Collect crash reports from the developer consoles, triage and work towards resolving issues.
* Work with modern tools including Jira, Slack, Bitbucket, Confluence etc, keeping Kanban boards and documents up to date.

Please don't worry if you don't have all the experience listed above, the role will offer the opportunity to train in React Native and for ongoing personal development.

There is a good Salary for up and coming developers of up to £45,000 alongside 25 days holiday and a remote first / flexible working policy and pension, Life assurance and health care insurance.
