Responsibilities

• Provide medical services, including health evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, prescribed medications, and order
  
• Conduct phone and in-person triage of injured employees to determine and arrange proper disposition of employees to hospital, clinic, home, or return to
  
• Perform Commercial Drivers License (CDL) medical certifications and post-offer, pre-placement physical
  
• Collaborate with the City of Colorado Springss Occupational Health Clinic, Physical Therapy, and Workers Compensation
  
• Perform testing and evaluation for Hearing Conservation Program in accordance with OSHA and CAOHC, Pulmonary Clearance and Respirator Fit Testing in accordance with OSHA and support the asbestos monitoring
  
• Collaborate on department and occupational health policies, procedures, and programs with safety engineering, ergonomics, and industrial
  
• Other duties as
  
  

Requirements

• Relevant and progressively responsible experience providing primary/urgent/emergency care services to the adult population; experience providing medical services and care for occupational injuries is
  
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing or Physician Assistant program
  
• AANPCB, ANCC, or NCCPA Board Certification as applicable
  
• An active license, in good standing, to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of
  
• Possession of current State and Federal DEA certification and the legal ability to prescribe schedule II-V
  
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
