Sales Cashier

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist customers with their purchasing decisions, providing product information and suggestions as needed
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including stocking merchandise and arranging displays as necessary
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and cohesive working environment
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention measures and cash handling guidelines
• Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate change accurately
