Job Description

  • Check in for assignments upon arrival each day
  • Meet with managers to discuss any pass on
  • Coordinate and communicate with supplies are needed In Room Dining, to complete orders, using par stock list as a guide
  • Have full knowledge of all hours of operation for In Room Dining and all dining outlets for the Hotel
  • Have full knowledge of restaurants and Room Service menus and be able to communicate details to hotel guests
  • Assist in the proper and timely completion of servers side work and closing duties, as assigned by the manager on duty
  • Assist in taking orders for amenities, prepare amenity packages, accurately charge amenities to correct department, document all amenity changes, and correctly file all information
  • Answer the telephone and accurately record guest information and food and/or beverage orders according to established procedure, including noting food allergies and special attention orders
  • Up sell and suggest additional food and/or beverage items to compliment the order whenever possible
  • Accurately document orders on dish pick up list and ensure dish pick up standards are being met correctly.
  • Communicate daily with staff in the morning and evening to discuss upcoming events or noteworthy information that impacts the department.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and competency in all aspects of department, delivery, order taking, and office systems
  • Oversee and maintain Four Seasons In Room Dining Service Standards
  • Monitor areas for cleanliness and organization
  • Ensure carts are clean and in good repair at all times and communicate to managers when necessary repairs are in order
  • Communicate effectively with staff from both the front and back of the house
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English & Arabic language.
  • Previous customer experience and ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills
