- Embodies and reinforces CMC's culture, Guiding Principles, and policies/procedures.
- Builds strong engagement within the team by effectively communicating the department's strategy and goals to the team.
- Holds team members accountable for their behavior and performance in a timely manner, using performance management and development planning to consistently improve performance.
- Ensures individual team members' goals and priorities support the department's short and long-term vision.
- Actively participate and assist in leading team with CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture (Take 2, Observation Cards and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). This also includes Incident Investigation and use of Intelex for reporting.
- Assist with the supervision of equipment and Rolling Mill activities throughout shift.
- Responsible for follow up on all daily pre-op equipment inspection for team.
- Lead pre-shift meeting to include safety topics, stretch exercises and daily plan.
- Assist department to meet Quality (ISO) goals and requirements.
- Ensure housekeeping of area is performed to keep area clean to maintain a safe working environment.
