FLEET COORDINATOR - OWL Services: WildcoPES Division


We are the East Coast s leading service provider of comprehensive petroleum, sales, maintenance, inspection, testing and construction management services to major oil suppliers, independent retailers, contractors and other private & public sector facilities. We service over 170,000 gas stations from Maine to Georgia serving customers such as Costco, Sunoco, BJs, Sams Club, Cumberland Farms and many more.

Summary
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the administration and supervision of a comprehensive fleet business system encompassing every aspect of preventive maintenance, record keeping and reporting for the entire fleet. Additionally, this role will be responsible to assist in developing specifications for standard and specialized vehicles, as well as the oversight of trailers, and any equipment associated with performing WildcoPES field services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and record maintenance and repair procedures for company-owned and leased vehicles and apply an effective reporting system to assure that services are provided properly and timely.
  • Support Field Technicians in resolving vehicle issues
  • Work with operations to assess vehicle needs and coordinate purchase of new trucks.
  • Managing vehicle licensure, registration and insurance.
  • Issue and monitor fuel cards and EZPass Transponders, cell control and GPS.
  • Recommend and forecast equipment replacement based upon life-cycle analysis criteria
  • including age, condition, value, cost and maintenance history.
  • Use reporting and other methods to monitor all activity to ensure compliance with
  • company policies and procedures, including issues related to safety and vehicle
  • management and control.
  • Follows warranty and recall information for equipment repairs
  • Promotes company policies for vehicle including a maintenance schedule to assist in
  • budgeting for the cost of repairs and replacement.
  • Assures all Calibration Equipment is certified per manufacturer and regulatory agency
  • guidelines
  • Submits proposals for expenditures on capital expenses for fleet
  • Adherence to all required DOT regulations
  • Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned.


Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:


  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor s degree a plus
  • Comprehensive knowledge of auto-mechanics critical thinking
  • At least two years of vendor/supplier management, product, sales or sales support

  • Able to succeed working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Merchants Fleet Service or similar system
  • Ability to respond effective to change
  • High level of organization skills with multitasking capabilities
  • Combination of documented experience and skills

  • Familiar with and experience with Microsoft Office Applications
