THE ROLE

Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to a senior member of the commercial team required to undertake the day-to-day project contract/ commercial matters.

Main Responsibilities

• Delivery of project commercial reports
• Project Commercial administration and reporting
• Delivery of project internal and external commercial targets
• Application for Payment processing
• Subcontract administration and management
• Engagement with project stakeholders on commercial matters.
  

Experience, Skills And Knowledge

• BSc in related subject or equivalent project experience
• Relevant experience of working as part of a project commercial team
• Chartered member to a recognised organisation (RICS or CIOB) an advantage
• Sound knowledge of commercial aspects of civil and infrastructure projects
• Experience in project expenditure profiling, cost reporting and cost forecasting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of administrating construction contracts
• Experience of a Contract Management System preferred but not essential.
• Capable of obtaining (or currently holds) UK Nuclear industry clearance
