Quant Developer Front End - Mark Williams

Role:

In this role youll be responsible for constructing the nextgeneration user interface for systems leveraging the latest languages and quantitative techniques. The successful candidate will join the Quantitative Engineering team and collaborate with development teams working within a shared codebase to develop bestinclass cloudnative solutions.

Responsibilities:

Create user interfaces for quantitative trading platforms using React.
Construct scalable frontend systems to handle large data volumes efficiently.
Ensure seamless integration between UI backend services and data analysis tools.
Optimize applications for speed efficiency and scalability.
Improve frontend performance through analysis and profiling.
Work with front office staff and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.

Requirements:

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field.
Over 5 years of UI development experience with an emphasis on React.
Proficiency in JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 and other pertinent web technologies.
Previous experience in financial trading or related quantitative domains is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated strong problemsolving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
