• Develop and implement mathematical models to support decision making and improve business outcomes
  
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into mathematical models
  
• Clean, manipulate and analyze large datasets to support model development
  
• Use mathematical software such as MATLAB, R or Python to develop models
  
• Validate and test models to ensure they are accurate and meet business requirements
  
• Develop reports, visualizations and presentations to communicate model insights to stakeholders
  
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mathematics, modeling and related technologies
  
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that model development efforts align with business objectives
  
• Mentor and coach team members to help them reach their full potential

Requirements

• Masters degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
  
• At least 2 years of experience in mathematical modeling
  
• Strong background in mathematics, including linear algebra, differential equations and optimization
  
• Excellent communication and project management skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  
• Proficiency in mathematical software such as MATLAB, R or Python
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  
• Knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python is a plus
  
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively with clients
