You will work as part of a cross-functional team with end-to-end responsibility for the technical requirements to helping build new products, services and capabilities, Ideally in this role you will facilitate collaborative workshops with team members, business stakeholders and customers to define the current state and future business requirements enabling the design, selection and build of business solutions that drive business and customer value.

YOU WILL

  • Communicate professionally at all levels and areas of the business, acting as a consultant to senior stakeholders and TRG members to provide advice and best practice guidance.
  • Support the development of appropriate software applications to meet functional and non[1]functional business requirements, in line with development and unit testing standards and controls.
    Work alongside the Applications Chapter to deliver the Housing and Asset Management application strategy.

Role Profile

Our client IT Solution Analyst to help shape and deliver the IT and Digital Business portfolio and the Business Change portfolio. As a IT Solution Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing complex business requirements, drawing out the technical requirements to support design and delivery the Group s IT BAU and Change Portfolios.

Your primary skills will be analysis, IT solution design, integration and data mapping and you will be an experienced change professional who can support the project team/agile squad by applying a can-do attitude

You will work as part of an agile squad / project team with responsibility for undertaking in-depth analysis and capturing technical needs to identify products and services that provide business solutions to complex problems.

Accountabilities or What You Have to Do

  • Work as part of a cross-functional team with end-to-end responsibility for the technical requirements to helping build new products, services and capabilities
  • Facilitate collaborative workshops with team members, business stakeholders and customers to define the current state and future business requirements enabling the design, selection and build of business solutions that drive business and customer value
  • Capture technical needs through a range of analytical techniques and translate them into user stories, epics, process diagrams and requirement documentation
  • Closely collaborate with the Design, Delivery and Architecture Communities to understand business goals, strategic drivers and product roadmaps to develop technical solutions that deliver against expected outcomes for the benefit of the business
  • Support development and testing colleagues to ensure there is a consistent understanding of technical need and project goals
  • Assist in the build of appropriate non-functional requirements are considered in all relevant procurement activity
  • Identify and support removal of challenges to successful delivery by facilitating decision making with the business and within the team based upon your understanding of technical needs
  • Break down large initiatives and design for iterative delivery to enable the team to deliver value sooner
  • Self-organise and adopt new ways of delivering analysis
  • Work closely with the Business Analysts, Solution Architects and with the wider team and the business to continuously review the backlog ensuring work is prioritised against business needs
  • Attend and contribute to squad meetings including Planning, Backlog Refinement and Retrospectives
  • Respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required to support the effective operation of the service
  • Support continuous improvement through routine and bespoke analysis, including feedback from stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience of capturing technical requirements within a complex, multi-site organisation
  • Strong knowledge of industry standard tools and design thinking
  • Experience of analysis in either SCRUM, Kanban, Lean or other Agile methodologies
  • Awareness of working in Waterfall methodologies and capturing technical requirements up-front
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Value focussed with the ability to analyse data, system functionality and complex business information
  • An ability and willingness to learn new skills through a life-long learning approach
