Job Description: QA Engineer
Location: UAE
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- Certification in ISO 9001/14001 is required.
- Proficiency in ISO/IEC 17020 or ISO/IEC 17024 standards is highly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role.
- Experience working with ISO standards and quality management systems.
Nationality: Any
Salary: As per company policies and candidates experience.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Management: Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures in all stages of the development process.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing processes and implement corrective actions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality assurance processes procedures and outcomes.
- Auditing: Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize qualityrelated issues.
- Testing: Develop and execute test plans to ensure software and products meet quality standards.
- Defect Tracking: Track and manage defects throughout the testing process ensuring timely resolution.
- Training: Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
- Communication: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address quality issues and implement solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance.
Requirements
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of ISO Standards: Thorough understanding of ISO 9001/14001 standards and experience implementing quality management systems.
- ISO/IEC 17020 or ISO/IEC 17024: Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17020 (for inspection bodies) or ISO/IEC 17024 (for personnel certification bodies) is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends or patterns.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability of quality processes.
- ProblemSolving: Strong problemsolving skills to identify causes of quality issues and develop effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with team members effectively and stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams to achieve quality objectives.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant software tools for quality assurance and testing.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.

Mechanical Diploma or ITI course in mechanical engineering. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in pipeline fitting within the Oil & Gas sector. Work experience certificate is mandatory. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of LPG systems, tanks, valves, and fittings. Familiarity with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines in the Oil & Gas industry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Must be physically fit and able to work in potentially challenging conditions.
