Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing role.
- Proven experience as a purchasing manager or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors).
- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
