Purchase Specialist

• To ensure Annual Projection are received from Operation for regular raw materials and reviewed on monthly as per the calendar / timelines set in policy.
• Annual projections for small ware, Cutlery, Plate ware, Glassware, Delivery bags, Uniforms, Premiums (toys), Spare Parts must be provided by respective departments.
• Inventory review and weekly meetings with Team on action items.
• Monitor critical Expiry exposure stocks, Non-Moving & Ageing Stocks and closely work with team and Brand Operations on liquidation plan.
• To follow-up and get Annual Marketing/activity calendar for better visibility and on-time delivery for promotional materials.
• Support Restaurant new openings, renovations & closing.
• To develop alternatives for existing materials.

Purchasing:

• Achieving the lowest possible price and highest quality as per our products specification.
• Negotiate contract prices and terms with Franchisor / Approved suppliers. Compare product prices from different suppliers and finalize Supply Contracts within Kout guidelines.
• Timely renewal of supply contracts (yearly / half-yearly / quarterly), including hedging of key food products, average pricing etc. based on market history and forecasts.
• To Improve payment terms for positive cash flow.
• To align with Finance to ensure Vendor Payments are processed as per agreed terms without delays.

Logistics:

• To arrange Freight Forwarder and/or shipping line, nomination for Import & Export Shipments.
• Shipment clearance Customs and other Approval in compliance with local regulations.
