Our client, a reputed food & beverage manufacturing company in the UAE that deals in its FMCG brands across the region is looking to hire a Purchase Manager for their Commodities division based in DUBAI

In this role you will be responsible for the following :
  • procuring supplies from vendors, evaluating market conditions to mitigate risks, and supervising department personnel.
  • Responsible for procurement & inventory strategy that supports the companys supply chain process in the company
  • Develop and manage pricing strategies.
  • Encourage team spirit and discuss performance periodically.
  • Assess and approve supplier and market details.
  • Analyze the commodities market, global conditions, and events to make strong decision for purchase.
  • Obtain best pricing to meet commodities needs.




Requirements

To be considered for this role you must qualify the below criteria:

1. Bachelors degree in the relevant field. Postgraduate in the Supply chain will be an added advantage.
2. Experience in SAP is mandatory
3. Min 3 to 5 years experience as a Purchase Manager in any reputed FMCG organization with stocks managed in edible fats/cooking oil.
4. Should be experienced in exploring the overseas market.
5. Candidates within UAE or Out of UAE preferred within GCC will be considered.
6. Should have experience in managing risk prevailing market conditions.
