Qualifications

Person Specification Qualifications Essential

• Degree of equivalent experience in Engineering / Construction relating subject
• Professional / academic qualification at Masters level or equivalent experience of Capital Development
  

Desirable

• Project / Programme Management qualifications MSP Practitioner, Prince 2 Practitioner, PMP, APMP etc
  

Experience Essential

• Professional background including specialist knowledge in more than one or more of the following areas for a significant period of time: - Architecture - Engineering - Quantity Surveying - Building Surveying - Project Management
• OR An equivalent level of experience with a minimum of 5 years experience delivering capital schemes within the NHS
• Significant and proven/demonstrable experience of management, and of practical experience in project management of delivering complex building projects across large complex sites within an acute hospital healthcare environment or similar.
  

Desirable

• Sound knowledge of corporate governance and an understanding of risk management.

• Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to communicate at all levels - ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical people
