Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of production, ensuring that products are manufactured on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices, driving efficiency and cost savings.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained at all times, implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial planning for the production department, managing costs and identifying opportunities for financial improvement.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing production team, providing training and development opportunities as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the production process.
  • Monitor and report on production performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in plant production management, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial planning in a production environment.
  • Excellent understanding of safety practices and regulations in a production setting.
  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
