Job Description

- Source and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors for civil engineering materials and services
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality
- Monitor and track procurement activities to ensure compliance with project timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites
- Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes that may arise during construction
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing
- Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports for project stakeholders
- Implement best practices and procedures for procurement processes to improve efficiency
- Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement in the construction industry
- Collaborate with project managers to develop procurement strategies for construction projects.
