Process Engineer

• You will be working on Basic, FEED or detailed engineering design complied with project requirements
• You will develop broad and professional process engineering competencies to provide future engineering capacity with process group
• You are accountable for successful completion of assigned engineering tasks and preparation of process engineering documents
• You are expected to perform design activities assigned by Process Lead Engineer
• You will be preparing process equipment and instrument related documents for project requirement within a given time frame. As well as, working with information, checking for accuracy of documents
• You will review design documents / drawings prepared by the design team
• You are expected to keep up to date with new developments of standards, process soft-wares, procedures and implement it to the day to day work
• You shall be working together with the process team develop sizing calculations for Process equipment’s (Pumps, Heat Exchangers, distillation columns, compressors, separators, reactors etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets
• You shall be performing hydraulic calculations as well as perform necessary pump NPSH calculations
• You are expected to work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations
• You will be preparing process specifications, drawings (PFD, P&ID’s etc.) and process deliverables. Mainly as listed below: a) Process Design basis b) Process flow diagrams c) Heat and mass heat balance d) P&I diagrams e) Material selection diagrams f) Line list g) Equipment list h) Process data sheets for equipment’s i) Instrument data sheet j) Control philosophy k) Cause & effect sheets
  
  

About You

• BS Chemical Engineering or higher degree
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role
• Significant experience working for Oil and Energy projects. Knowledge of chemical plant simulators is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
• Experience in similar design consultancies in Oil and gas projects
