The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and be responsible for the following:
Music Director for the Robins AFB Catholic Mass here-in called Music Director
Scope of
Provides music activities for the Robins AFB Catholic The Music Director shall provide labor and management to support the responsibilities outlined within this job The contract includes, but is not limited to playing, training, scheduling, and processing music for liturgies within the Catholic Service in collaboration with the Robins AFB Catholic Parish

Education and Music Director shall:
Have five (5) or more years of college in music (or related field), or equivalent years of related experience in a chapel/church setting and playing the piano and
Have at least two (2) years of recent experience playing with and or directing church
Be able to sing and vocally lead congregation in
Be able to plan, organize, and lead the Catholic
Possess the ability to develop and maintain a healthy and positive relationship with volunteers, lay leaders, other musicians, parishioners, Chapel Staff, and base
Be able to sight read, arrange, improve, play, and score
Sing music in keeping with the Catholic
Possess the ability to develop and maintain a healthy and positive relationship with
Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English in order to perform all responsibilities outlined within the JOB
General Music Director shall:
Provide musical directorship for the Catholic Service at Robins Air Base
Provide musical directorship for a minimum of one (1) rehearsal and one (2) Masses each
Meet with the Catholic Priest or their designated representative as needed to coordinate music arrangements and schedules for choir rehearsals and performances (hours to be arranged in consultation with the Catholic Priest).
Lead the choir and congregation in worship and vocally lead them as required by the Catholic Priest or their designated
Possess sound accompaniment skills and competent sight-reading ability is
Coordinate all support requirements with the Catholic Priest or their designated
Assist the Chaplain or their designated representative in developing the following in regards to Music Director Programs as appropriate: annual calendar of events, Chapel Tithes and Offerings fund budget, Appropriated Fund budget, and core volunteer training
Return any and all government-owned music scores and equipment obtained in the performance of the required duties following the last service provided under the
Not engage in the unauthorized duplication of copyrighted materials by photocopying or any other means that would expose the government to liability for penalties under existing or future copyright
Provide a replacement as necessary to ensure 100% coverage for all responsibilities listed within this job The replacement shall meet or exceed the qualifications of the Music

Specific Music Director shall:
Arrive at least sixty (60) minutes prior to the beginning of worship services and special services, and thirty (30) minutes prior to the beginning of each
Submit purchase/repair requests as needed for support of the music program to the contracting officer or their designated
Recruit and train choir members, including the cantor, from the Robins AFB Chapel
Recruit and coordinate volunteers within the music
Be accountable for opening, restoring to its neutral setting, cleaning, and securing any facilities used for music events, rehearsals, worship services, or special
Maintain a professional attitude and environment to include hygiene and
Sing music from a religious music, ecclesiastical, or suitable type publication resource consistent with the nature of the Catholic
Provide arranged, improved, and scored music as appropriate for compatibility with the type of worship service or other functions of the Chaplain s program at which it was
Provide Audio/Visual (A/V) lyrics, if applicable, ( PowerPoint slides) for all services as
Attend meetings related to the music program as identified by the Contracting Officer or their
