- Teaching literacy, numeracy, physical education and social science to primary school pupils
- Developing pupils’ abilities and interests with a wide range of creative activities
- Testing and assessing pupils for progress in written or oral work
- Encouraging personal development by motivating students to develop and use their mental and social capabilities
- Creating, maintain and updating attendance records
- Attending staff meetings, PTA meetings, educational conferences and workshops
- Supervising extra-curricular activities like excursions, sports and school concerts
- Planing, preparing and presenting lessons designed to meet the individual needs of each student
