Primary Teacher

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational objectives.
• Teach a range of subjects to primary school students, including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported, and motivated to learn.
• Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians as needed.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special needs or English language learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents/guardians, and school administrators to support student learning and development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in education.
• Uphold the school’s policies, procedures, and code of conduct, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment for all.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching primary school students.
• Strong knowledge of primary school curriculum standards and instructional best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
