- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate software tools (such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project) to effectively plan and monitor project activities.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to gather necessary project data and ensure schedule alignment.
- Analyze project scope, objectives, and deliverables to develop an accurate work breakdown structure (WBS) and determine project milestones and critical path activities.
- Monitor and track project progress against established schedules, identifying any deviations or delays, and proposing corrective actions to minimize impact on project timelines.
- Conduct regular project progress meetings, providing timely updates on project schedule, milestones, and potential risks to key stakeholders.
- Generate comprehensive reports, including progress reports, variance analysis, and resource utilization reports, to communicate project status and performance to management and project teams.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets, resource allocation plans, and procurement schedules based on the project schedule and requirements.
- Support the project team in preparing change order requests and evaluating the impact on project schedules and timelines.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior planning team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and continuous professional development within the team.
