General Summary of position

Improves a companys production and distribution processes. Ensures the production and distribution of products runs smoothly.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
• Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes tools and human resource requirements.
• Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Supervises training programs for new employees in his units. Ensures following of relevant fire &safety.
• Plans sequence of fabrication assembly installation and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
• Prepares production and planning reports
• Make sure all the production Sales Orders has a Job Orders against the line order
• Update BOM and routing of the Job Orders/ Monitor the daily output of the production Job Orders (daily Job Completion & Daily job operation Status)
• Monitor BOM of the status of the running orders of the job Orders created
• Utilized the nonmoving items in the FG Store or cancelled orders prior to Job Order creation
• Recommend exchange order as per the condition of the nonlifted materials in FG store
• Submit the job summary daily for the status and schedule purposes.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous work Experience in Production Planning or scheduling Diploma in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• knowledge in Oracle or SAP
• Expect in MS office package
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Team player and multitasker
