Job Description
Req ID : 1477535
- Fills medication orders (IVs, chemotherapy, oral, external, ) and make them ready for checking by staff pharmacist.
- Admixes sterile pharmaceuticals (including chemotherapy), adhering to department approved
- Unit dose repackaging and compounding of pharmaceuticals.
- Prepares medication labels as stated by
- Participates in stock control programs (inventorying and monitoring usage).
- Monitor’s expiration dates of
- Maintains clean working environment including hoods and counter
- Stocks the work area with appropriate quantity of drugs and materials
- Issues controlled substances to patient care areas and maintains records as required by law and Departmental
- Ensure maintenance and safe operations of
- Complies with hospital infection control and safety protocols
- Performs other job-related duties within his/her technical ability as assigned
