• Read and interpret design models and blueprints to measure, cut and design patterns in the fabrics required. Have a genuine interest in swimwear and modesty fashion • Create new styles or cutting edge adjustments to existing styles, which are in collaboration with the overall Sales strategy of the company (price point and cost requirements considered) • Drive the entire process of New Styles Checklist (NSCL) to bring these styles to production. This involves your own tasks as well as managing others to complete their tasks in the stages of Styles development, all efficiently and to meet the final deadline • Pattern creation as per industry standards, really understand the aspects of pattern making. Determine consumption, grading, create Product Image Drawings and provide chart details to Quality Control. Safely electronic store our valuable Tuka assets • Coordinate sample production and accurately complete the Price Request Forms (PRFs) for all new styles to be used for costing and production • Make changes to existing patterns discovered from line production, update Image Drawing & Spec Table and inform the Production Template Control Department • Once line and colour stories are determined, complete accurately the Summary of Fabrics (SOF) excel file detailing exact components of each item in the line. This includes codes and colours for fabric, thread, zippers and all trims. Attention to detail and accuracy is of upmost importance as Production will order raw materials and manufacture based on this information • Communicate clearly with the Production and Sales Team to provide all support needed to ensure their tasks can be completed smoothly.
