Pathologist Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform microscopic examinations and analysis of tissue specimens and body fluids
• Interpret laboratory tests, including immunohistochemistry and molecular diagnostics
• Make accurate diagnoses and provide comprehensive pathology reports
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to contribute to patient care and treatment planning
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety guidelines in laboratory practices
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in pathology techniques and technologies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
  

Requirements

• Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Pathologist Specialist/Consultant
• Completion of a recognized residency program in pathology
• Proven experience in performing microscopic examinations and analyzing tissue specimens
• Strong knowledge of pathology techniques, laboratory protocols, and safety measures
• Ability to accurately interpret laboratory tests and provide detailed pathology reports
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of cases
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to analyze complex pathology findings
